The Samsung 85-inch Ultra HDTV is almost here. Samsung announced that they will display the 85-inch Ultra HDTV at CES 2013. The Ultra HDTV is said to be more than 8 million pixels making it a new benchmark in the tech industry. 8 million pixels will mean the Samsung 85-inch Ultra HDTV will have quadruple more pixels found in the normal 1080p Television Sets.
Samsung also states that the Samsung 85-inch Ultra HDTV will have enhanced dimming technology along with a very high contrast ratio. Detailed specifications are still a mystery though with only speculations as to the technology breakthrough the UHD TV will bring.
Samsung, who previously called the UHDTV technology the 4k, would use the Ultra High-Definition or the UHD concept with an intriguing definition of UHD. For a television to be called a UHD, it would have to a minimum resolution of 3840×2160 pixels along with a 4k digital input and display.
It remains to be seen how the technology world will react to the Samsung 85-inch UHDTV come CES 2013.

The Asus VivoTab RT was released on the 12th of October, 2012 and so far the reviews and consumer comments have been highly positive with a few shortcomings which I will be discussing in this review. The fact of the matter is that the Asus VivoTab RT is an ARM-based Tablet with some great features and a great design.
The Asus VivoTab RT was recently reviewed by many tech magazines online and I was surprised by the average reviews that the magazines have come up with. The reason why I was surprised is that if you look at the consumer reviews online by users,(like you and me) you will find only positive reviews of the Asus VivoTab RT (More on that later).
The Asus VivoTab RT is a lightweight Tablet-PC equipped with Windows RT. The 10.1 inches screen spits out 1366×768 pixels enough to put other high-end tablet-pcs to shame.

Xbox Gamers behold! Microsoft is deveoping a 7-inch Gaming Tablet, called the Xbox Surface, designed specifically for gaming. “The focus is on gaming” revealed a report by The Verge. The Gaming Tablet will not run a full version of Windows but will instead have a kernel version.
The Xbox Surface is set to feature a 7-inch LED Screen with 720p resolution, Wireless Networking, Bluetooth, and a 288 MB of RAM. The Xbox Surface will also pack a staggering 5Gb of system memory, and a 250 Gb Hard Disk.
The release date is still unknown however it looks like it going to be very close to the release of the Xbox 720 Console. Still unclear though!
AT&T is set to release the Nokia Lumia 920 on the 9th of November. AT&T announced that a number of Windows 8-powered smartphones would be released on the same date. The previous Nokia Lumia, the 900, is a sleek and very beautiful smart phone with features such as an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 8 megapixels Carl-Zeiss Camera, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system etc.

The Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T is the latest edition in Tablet PCs to enter the market. I am glad to report that the initial reaction and the first reviews are really positive. The Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T, with an Atom Processor, has far exceeded expectations and users are actually surprised how well the Atom processor is performing coupled with Windows 8.
The high-end Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T, as the ‘Pro’ suggests, has a faster Intel i5 processor with twice the memory. This makes the Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T a tad bit slower in terms of performance. But if we look at the price difference, there is not much between the ATIV Smart PCs. The price difference between the two models is large so you get your money’s worth.
At first glance, both the Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T and the 700T look exactly the same with the same body, same 11.6 inch large screen. The only difference that meets the eye is the colors of the Tablet PC. While the 500T comes in mystic blue and and white, the Pro 700T has the only option of the bold-black color.
